The company established for the administration of the centre belongs to EfTEN Kinnisvarafond and OÜ Aromare, which belongs to Silikaat Grupp, in equal shares. In the buildings located next to the Pärnu City Government, there are 5996 square metres of net area together with an unfinished extension, the company announced.

“Our vision for the coming months is to have a decent food store open its doors in the centre, which is clearly missed in the Pärnu town centre and for which several stores in the town centre and beach area have not found a suitable space,” Viljar Arakas, the managing director of EfTEN Capital said. “When buying on such a price level, we can finish the incomplete construction, bring new life to the centre and offer decent contractual terms for shopkeepers.”

The tenants of the centre continue to be Eesti Post, the pharmacies Pharmac and Mai pharmacy, Pagaripoisid bakery, and Lihakarn, which is well known to the people of Pärnu, and many stall-keepers, whose everyday activities the change of ownership will not affect in any way other than by providing them with more security regarding the future perspectives of the centre, Arakas added.

Arakas also said that at the moment, the recruitment process for finding a manager for Lepa Centre is in the home stretch.
